Please take notice that, on the call of the Chairman and in accordance with its bylaws, a special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016. The meeting will be held at 12:00 noon, in the Shenandoah room on the 4th floor at 919 E Main St Richmond, VA 23219.
The purposes of the meeting and the primary agenda items are:
(i) performance evaluation of the CEO (and comprising in part the report of the Governance and Nominating Committee);
(ii) consultation with legal counsel pertaining to certain pending litigation; and
(iii) acting upon such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
It is anticipated that items (i) and (ii) above will occur in closed session under Sections 2.2-3711.A(1) and A(7) (Personnel Matters and Legal Matters) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, although formal action of the Board, if any, with respect to such matters would be in open session.
