About the Role:
This unique position is just right for the person who enjoys variety and seeks junior level management responsibility. Duties include: replacing absent Toll Collection Attendants, Toll Supervisors and Bridge Attendants for scheduled and unscheduled absences; collecting and recording tolls, ensuring a smooth and orderly flow of traffic; counting trays and preparing bank sheets; monitoring toll equipment and maintenance of orderly plaza operations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in handling money and accounting for money received and disbursed; ability to work well in a team environment; prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred; superior customer service skills; ability to use computers; knowledge of windows based systems; must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to work in inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, and atmospheric conditions; ability to walk across traffic lanes, climb steep steps and carry up to 30 pounds.
This is a full-time position. Hiring salary range: $16.50-$21.45 per hour.
