The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority (RMTA) has advertised a Request for Proposal (RFP). The intent of the RFP is to invite all toll systems integrators having specific minimum qualifications to submit a proposal to replace the RMTA’s present Open Road Tolling (ORT) systems at the Downtown Expressway and Powhite Parkway in Richmond, VA along with system maintenance services. The RMTA seeks a solution that is based on an existing production system and therefore anticipates minimal customization. The RMTA will be hosting a mandatory, in-person pre-proposal conference and site visit, the dates and details of which are included within the RFP.
